The Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival is excited for our second year of the Passions that Bloom Youth Competition!*
Last year, as part of a newly reimagined youth component, we introduced: "Passions that Bloom" 🌱.
This new youth competition of the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival encourages all Annapolis Valley Youth between the ages of 12 and 21 to apply. If you have a dream or a passion, we want to hear from you!
Are you outgoing and looking for an opportunity to connect with your community? This contest is for you!
If the thought of speaking in front of a crowd makes you want to run the other way, this competition is STILL for you!
Our judges keep the needs of every youth in mind. We will work with you at your own comfort level.
All passions matter!
The goal of this project is to acknowledge and foster the hopes and dreams of all the youth in our communities.

🧁 Do you have a passion for baking and hope to someday sell your goodies, but need money for
supplies? We want to help.
🛠️ Do you dream in 3D and create architectural designs in your mind, and want to pursue your dream of becoming an architect? We want to help.
🙋 Do you see a need in your community and have an idea of how to improved it? We want to help.
We want to hear about your passions and we want to help them bloom into reality.

Finalists will participate in community events throughout the festival. These opportunities will help to instil confidence, create life-long friendships, and foster their creativity. The participants involved will gain many practical work-related skills that are vital in today's competitive job market, no matter their plans.
